How do I place an order on the website?

Placing an order online is simple.

  1. Browse our huge selection of instruments and music accessories, chose the items you want by adding them to your basket by pressing the ‘Add to Basket’ button on any of the product pages
  2. When you are happy with your order hit the ‘Checkout’ button (hover your mouse over the green basket icon in the top right-hand corner)
  3. Next, add your delivery and payment information and you’re done!

 

When your order is completed you will receive a confirmation email, this will also act as your proof or purchase, so try and keep this email safe.

No, to shop the Mickleburgh website you do not need an online account, but creating an account means you can view all previous orders in one place, check the progress of current orders and complete future orders faster. 

Is an item in stock?

In stock – Good news! This means the item is in stock and can be purchased right away. The item will usually be dispatched or can be collected the next working day

In stock (backorder) – This means the item is not in stock, however, it can be purchased straight away but may be a little longer until it is delivered to you or available for collection in-store

Out of stock – If an item you are looking for is out of stock get in touch or come in store. We may be able to order the item in for you or we may already have it in our Bristol shop

What method of payment do you accept?

We accept credit and debit card payments via Visa and Mastercard. You can also pay via PayPal or BACS. We accept cash payments in store.

How much do you charge for delivery?

All orders over £100 are delivered to you for free. You can also collect any online order from our Bristol store, free of charge. For orders under £100, delivery is priced by weight. For further information, head over to the delivery information page.

When will I get my order?

Orders will usually be dispatched the next working day and we aim to deliver online orders to mainland UK within 5 working days.

How do I change my order?

Send us an email or give us a call, we’ll be happy to help.

Can I order something over the phone?

Yes, we’d be happy to take your order over the phone but we can’t take payments this way. If ordering over the telephone we accept BACS payments or can send a PayPal payment request.

Can I collect my order from in store?

Yes, anything brought on our website can be collect free in our Bristol store.

What should I do if there is a problem with my order?

The best thing to do is get in touch as soon as you can, we’d love to help you get it sorted.

Are prices the same online and in-store?

Yes, we make every effort to ensure consistency on prices between our shop and our website. Sometimes we offer special deals in store though so it’s worth visiting us.

I’m looking for an instrument that I cannot find on the website…

The best thing to do is to either come in-store, send us an email, or give us a ring. We may be able to order it in specially for you or may have it in the shop already.

What is your returns policy?

If purchasing through our website you can return your items within 10 days from the date of delivery.  When purchasing in store we do not accept returns of instruments but can offer to exchange accessories and sheet music for other items or a credit note. This must be done within 14 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

Can I try an instrument in store before I buy?
Of course! Nearly all of the instruments you see online are also in our shop. Feel free to come and have a try.

Yes, all products come with a one-year warranty as standard.

Some brands offer an extended guarantee, so please ask us for details.

We offer short-term hire of instruments, usually for performances. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We’d love to! Mickleburgh have been repairing musical instruments for over 150 years.

We offer a range of repairs to get your instrument back to its former glory and sounding amazing. 

Most instrument repairs are carried out at our Bristol store. You can either bring your instrument into the shop or send it for us for a repair.  Pianos may be repaired in situ, or we can organise a collection to bring it into our workshop.

Yes! We offer a range of services from tuning, restoration, servicing and can even transport larger or bulkier items instruments like pianos.

Give us a call or come in store and we’d be happy to take a look or give some advice about any instruments you are looking to sell.
