Be inspired by our collection of beautiful, carefully crafted instruments from the Meinl’s Sonic Energy range.

Used in therapy by many practitioners to help with stress management, anxiety relief, insomnia, depression, addictive recovery and pain management.

Find a journey toward peace and restoration through listening carefully to the vibrations, often encountered on a daily basis, and when listened to closely seem to have a language all of their own.

They invite us to appreciate what we find harmonious in our life and make self-discovery through sound.

The Sonic Energy collection supports our connection to experience the body, mind and energy, as one.

Meinl's beautiful gongs can be used as musical instruments, as sound centers in meditation and gong baths, or to give a signal that it is time to do something. 12011

The African thumb piano, or kalimba is a percussion instrument consisting of a number of thin metal blades (keys) mounted on a soundbox or soundboard. Sometimes they're made with a sound hole in the middle, sometimes they're made from solid wood.

Singing Bowls

Singing bowls produce soothing tones when tapped or rubbed. In many countries, singing bowls are popular utensils during meditation and sound therapies. Rarer is the use as a pure musical instrument. Meinl Sonic Energy offers a wide range of singing bowls in special bronze alloy and in high-purity quartz .

Tongue Drums

These small drums consist of a steel resonance body and various tone fields that are harmonious in themselves. Their pentatonic tuning makes it impossible to play wrong-sounding notes - perfect for beginners. Their meditative, soothing sound inspires meditation, sound therapy and percussion fans worldwide.

Tuning Forks

Tuning Fork therapy is also known as phonophoresis or tone puncture. It uses Tuning Forks to transmit vibrations to muscles, bones, joints, lungs, chakras, and various reflex zones in the body. These vibrations bring different areas of the body to vibrate and resonate and can thus help to relieve and dissolve "learned" dis-harmonies that have led to dis-tuning, blockage, or even illness.

To create different sounds, you need different mallets. Also, larger instruments require larger mallets, and smaller instruments require smaller mallets. Choose your favourites from our selection of Meinl's range.
