1. Eligibility – Open to all ages. Entrants under the age of 18 must confirm that they have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter and participate in the competition. Open to UK residents only (due to prize delivery restriction). Employees of Mickleburgh Ltd may not enter.
2. How to Enter – Entry is free. Submit a video (maximum 60 seconds) of a guitar riff via the official online entry form. Submit required contact details via the official online entry form.
3. Competition Period – Opens: 1st July 2026. Closes: 31st August 2026 at 11:59pm (BST). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. Winner Selection – All valid entries will be uploaded to Mickleburgh’s official YouTube channel and placed in a public playlist. The winner will be the video with the most YouTube “likes” at the closing time. In the event of a tie, our Mickleburgh guitar expert will select the winner.
5. Prize – 1 x Fender electric guitar valued at approximately £500. No cash alternative is available.
6. Rights & Usage – By entering, participants retain ownership of their music but grant Mickleburgh Ltd a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit and distribute submitted videos for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, in-store displays, and compilation content, even after the competition ends.
7. Publicity – Winner may be announced publicly (including first name and video) only with their consent. If consent is not given, the winner may remain anonymous.
8. Data Use – Personal data will be used to administer the competition and contact entrants. Entrants may also opt in to join Mickleburgh Ltd’s mailing list.
9. Disqualification – Mickleburgh Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate, fraudulent or in breach of these terms, including suspected artificial engagement (such as fake likes) or any entry that is AI-generated or significantly AI-assisted.
10. General – Mickleburgh Ltd accepts no responsibility for technical issues, lost entries, or incomplete submissions. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if necessary.
