Description
During the 19th Century one of the main family entertainments was an evening around the piano, playing and singing. As a result many of the great composers wrote songs, lieder, chansons or melodies. These songs contain a wonderful wealth and range of tunes, moods and imaginative writing.
The aim of the ‘Song Album Series’ is to make this music available for instrumentalists to enjoy, while keeping as close as possible to the originals.
