Description
Flute, Oboe and Saxophone players have it easy as far as fingering in their 2nd register goes. Their fingerings for each octave are mostly the same! Clarinettists don’t have it easy – you have to learn different fingerings for each register because the clarinet overblows at the 12th. There never seem to be sufficient pieces in tutor books in the ‘clarinet’ (lower) register to ensure the fingering becomes second nature – so here are a few more to help out at the crucial time.
These fun pieces and some careful practice will get you whizzing across registers with ease.
