The new Academy models have a completely redesigned acoustic assembly and keyboard and action assembly.  The Academy range are manufactured by C. Bechstein in Germany.  They provide a great price-performance ratio in terms of sound character, volume and touch.  The cabinet style on the A2, A114 (Chrome), and A4 is modern and timeless with a floating keybed.  Find more traditional styling in the A6 model.

Bechstein Academy model, with a height of 114 cm has been completely redeveloped and engineered based on the latest knowledge and experience.   The A 2 impresses with its new acoustic assembly, an optimized soundboard, new rib dimensions and a new scale design, providing an even more beautiful and differentiated Academy sound spectrum with a remarkable dynamic range.
