The new Academy models have a completely redesigned acoustic assembly and keyboard and action assembly.  The Academy range are manufactured by C. Bechstein in Germany.  They provide a great price-performance ratio in terms of sound character, volume and touch.  The cabinet style on the A2, A114 (Chrome), and A4 is modern and timeless with a floating keybed.  Find more traditional styling in the A6 model.

Bechstein Academy model, with a height of 114 cm has been completely redeveloped and engineered based on the latest knowledge and experience.   The A 2 impresses with its new acoustic assembly, an optimized soundboard, new rib dimensions and a new scale design, providing an even more beautiful and differentiated Academy sound spectrum with a remarkable dynamic range. The also newly developed keyboard and action assembly offers perfect touch control. This new model is equipped with the C. The C. Bechstein A2 is the smallest model of their Academy line, but is a great introduction to C. Bechstein.
