The Michael Aaron Piano Course Lesson books have been completely re-engraved, expanded (adding more definitions of musical terms and more musical pieces), updated (with modernized artwork), and re-edited (with less emphasis on fingerings and more on note-reading).

Grade 3 is an important milestone for the piano student.  Having arrived at this point, after mastering the early elementary stages, the student is looking forward with eager anticipation to music of a more ‘serious’ nature.  Bearing this in mind Grade Three includes original melodic material which sounds impressive but is in keeping with the third grade level.  This books also includes popular classics, some in their original form and others in interesting pianistic arrangements and technical material, which includes studies by Heller, Burgmuller, Duvernoy, Czerny, Krause and Berens.  Harmony and theory continues for a better musical understanding.

Everything possible has been done in order to capture and hold the students interest and enthusiasm, two pricelss assets which are the keys to progress and accomplishments.
