Description
From their origins as the Kawai Musical Instrument Research Laboratory in 1927, Kawai pianos have been famed for their tonal quality and innovative design, always searching for new materials and technologies that can improve the tone, touch, stability or durability of a piano. Today their musical empire reaches every corner of the globe making Kawai truly “The Sound Heard Around the World”.
This fine BL-61 dating from c.1980 is one of the taller uprights that you’ll find and has an 88 note keyboard and 3 pedals. It has recently been serviced in our own workshops including attention to the action, keys and pedals and finishing with a full regulation. The black polished casework is still presentable, but it is starting to show its age in some respects with small marks and blemishes around the case.
