Chromed brass slides for brightness with an added mass and sustain. Overall creates a slightly warmer and darker tone than chromed steel, yet still retains the desirable string overtones and ambience sought by metal slide users. Preferred by electric guitarists for rock, metal and blues styles; also favoured by acoustic players who want to add a slide ambience to their tone.
Heavy wall thickness for added mass, maximum sustain and positive fretting. It works best with higher string action setups. For lighter wall thickness and slightly brighter tone, choose 220 or 221 chromed steel slide.
