Description
John Brinsmead & Sons were one of the premier British piano makers having been established in London in 1836. Several premises were utilised over the next few years until a large, modern factory was constructed in Kentish Town some time after 1870. The company was purchased by Cramer & Cº in the 1920’s, who continued production under the Brinsmead name, until that company was purchased by Kemble & Cº in 1960 bringing the brand under the Kemble umbrella.
